Individual Watchmans are available for Upper Class passengers
who would like more movie choices.
Virgin Atlantic is ordering a new generation of 16
stretched A340-600s from Airbus Industrie, in which part of the
cargo hold will be converted into private cabins with double beds
for premium fare-paying passengers. Virgin's "grand hotel in the sky"
is also planned to have showers, a pub/lounge and/or restaurant/casino
and exercise and massage area on the lower deck. The new planes are
designed for non-stop journeys to Australia, the Far East and the
West Coast of America.
